Directions to Wendell Public Library

Wendell Common - Wendell, MA 01379-0236 - (978) 544-3559

From I- 91 - NORTH

  1. Take exit 24 in Deerfield.
  2. Go right at the end of the exit ramp and take the next right onto Rt. 116 south towards Sunderland and Amherst.
  3. Go over the blue bridge into Sunderland center and turn left onto Rt. 47 at the traffic lights.
  4. Follow Rt. 47 for about 5 miles until it forks; take the right fork where the sign says "To Northfield and Route 63".
  5. Go straight across Rt. 63 onto N. Leverett Rd. Follow this road into the hills, past Lake Wyola then turn left onto Locks Village Road.
  6. Stay on this road to the center of Wendell where there is a 4-way stop-sign intersection. Go straight through this intersection and about 200 yards ahead on the left is the new Wendell library.

From I- 91 - SOUTH

  1. Take exit 24 and turn left after the exit.
  2. Go right onto Rt. 116 south towards Sunderland and Amherst to the lights at the intersection in Sunderland center, and proceed on Rt. 47 as described above.

From Route 2 - WEST

  1. Go almost to Orange and get on Rt. 2A where it splits with Rt. 2.
  2. Very shortly turn right onto Wendell Depot Rd. Go through Wendell Depot and follow this road up a winding hill about 6 miles into Wendell center.
  3. The new library, along with small playground, will be on your right across from the town common and about 400 feet before a 4-way intersection in the center of Wendell.

From Route 2 - EAST

  1. Go just past the Erving town line and turn left onto 2A.
  2. Shortly turn right onto Wendell Depot Rd., and proceed as described above.

PARKING

If the library lot is full please park along side the cemetery on the back side of the long common.
