Children's & Young Adults' Book Review Center:

Located in the Children's Department of the Springfield City Library -
220 State Street, Springfield

  • Books are on review for a minimum of a month at a time.
  • Children's Book Review Center Hours are: Monday & Wednesday, 11-8; Tuesdays, 2-6; Thursdays, 1-6; Fridays, 12-5; Saturdays, 9-5; and Sundays, 12-4. Other hours by arrangement.
  • These books should be of interest to public and school librarians, media specialists, college librarians who collect children's materials, and child care providers.

Many thanks to the Springfield City Library for making arrangements with a number of publishers of children's and young adult materials to send review copies to WMRLS' Children's & Young Adult Book Review Center. Our Children's & Young Adult Book Review Center is housed in the Children's Department of the Springfield City Library. We invite all western Massachusetts librarians and child care providers to visit our review center and browse. You may spend as long as you like looking over these books. The Springfield City Library/WMRLS Children's & Young Adult Book Review Center opened on February 1, 1998.
