Description:

In a café style setting, a panel of outstanding WMRLS member librarians and friends will share tips and techniques on the many aspects of planning, conducting, and evaluating a library summer reading program.

9:30    Welcome - Librarian participants arrive and visit the exhibits

Summer Reading Program Power Workshop! ~ 9:30 - 3:30

Tuesday, April 10 ~ Tekoa Country Club, Westfield

Meet with colleagues to brainstorm effective and creative ways to encourage children, teens, and families to visit the library and to read during summer vacation months.  Featured presentations will include effective library displays, unique ways to “catch the beat” this summer, tips and techniques on effective summer programming, teen summer reading programs, and more!  Janet Eckert is the WMRLS contact for this program.
