Local Affirmative Action Compliance Officers
may have additional suggestions/requirements for ad placement. Always
allow sufficient time for candidates to apply. Application deadlines
that are too soon waste time, effort and advertising dollars in the

GRADUATE
LIBRARY SCHOOL LISTINGS/PLACEMENT OFFICES
Graduate library schools make their placement
offices and/or publications listing position vacancies available to
their graduates as well as to current students. In addition, some send
publications listing position vacancies on request or for a small fee
to other people in the library field, whether or not they are graduates
of that school. Consequently, these schools can be fruitful sources
for job listings even when professional experience is required in addition
to the degree.
